Dakota
Horvath's story is the story of American song. "It's
really the tale of a small boy who was enchanted by Barbra
Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Jack Jones,
Frank Sinatra and Carmen McCrae from listening to his
parents' record collection," states manager Barbara

Dakota's
first professional gig was at Mickey Rourke’s club
in Miami when he was just five. At age six, Dakota was
backstage with Frank Sinatra who gave him his handkerchief
and said, “You’ve got it, kid,” and
the L.A. Enquirer ran the story.
More
recently, Dakota sang for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s
wedding in 2000, opened for Natalie Cole and performed
at The Sopranos’ Emmy Awards party in 2001. Within
the past six months, Dakota has appeared twice at Catalina
Jazz Club in Hollywood and headlined at one of the celebrated
"Jazz at The A Frame" concerts in Los Angeles.
Dakota's
voice has also been compared to Miles Davis’ trumpet
in an article that appeared in the Music Industry Newswire
last August. Dakota's new CD features legendary jazz great
Benny Green on piano. His voice has also made news, with
appearances on Regis Philbin, Phil Donohue, Jenny Jones,
Jerry Springer, Fox in the Morning, Good Morning America
(interviewed by Diane Sawyer), US Weekly, London Mirror,
Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Tribune, The NY Times and The
LA Times.
